Gaston Chiquet Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs d'Ay Vintage Brut, Champagne, France 2013 1.5L

Very nicely captured fragrance here, plus subtly complex minerals and lemon/lime notes with a yeasty thread too; very pure. The palate's built in subtle layers, with initial crisp lemon and grapefruit flavors wrapped in toasty grilled almonds. Really fine, delicate and focused.
