The cuvée Vignobles Levet has made from the outset, from the Chavaroche lieu-dit in Côte-Rôtie. Whole-cluster Syrah, vinified in stainless steel and aged thirty to thirty-six months in foudre and demi-muids before bottling. It is, quite simply, a ferocious and uncompromising wine — an uninhibited expression of the appellation's smells and flavors: red plum, blackberry, iron, pepper and rose petal, full-bodied and deeply structured with outstanding length.
